Architects Benevolent Society Logo
The Architects Benevolent Society is the only registered charity in the UK for architects, assistants, technologists and landscape architects and their dependants. They give practical help to people of all ages who have experienced illness, accident, bereavement or other personal misfortune such as redundancy.

Most of their income comes from the architectural profession; some directly in donations and legacies and some from the invested gifts of past generations. As a consequence of tougher economic times donations fell in 2007-2008 whilst the number of people being helped increased to a high of 620. The Society's Redundancy Help and Information pack is helping hundreds more facing very tough times as a result of the economic downturn.
